Julia Mason - October 23, 1942 - April 16, 2022

Departed: 04/16/2022 (Leominster)

Obituary Preview: Leominster – Julia (McBreen) Mason, 79, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2022. With a deep faith in God and Jesus, she is resting in peace.

Julie, as she was known by all, was born and grew up in Concord, MA. A proud and loving mom, she raised her family in Stow, MA. Cooking meals, taking care of her family and making holidays special were very important to her. She was always great at household repairs, in particular painting and plumbing, and she found harmony in regularly watering her lawn. As her kids grew up, she could always be found at school activities and sporting events – cheering loudly – from elementary school, high school and beyond. She was well known as ‘Mom Mason’ to many of her kid’s friends.

It was easy to see that Julie loved children and animals. Her pets were spoiled, including Amy, Jessie and Misty over the years. Making her career as a school bus driver, she took great pride in this part of her life. She would stop the bus to point out wildlife and took time to know each student. Many, as adults now, share fond memories of Julie driving them to school.

Later in life, Julie moved to Leominster. While retired, she didn’t slow down. She enjoyed travelling, dancing and going to the beach, where “Salt water will cure it.” Country music was her favorite and she could be often caught dancing away to it in her living room – even without an audience. She was always a straight shooter – telling you how she saw it.

Even though she loved cooking, she refused to try new and different foods, because she was sure she wouldn’t like them. But did she have a sweet tooth - donuts, pies and ice cream were her favorites.

She leaves her daughter Kelli Cullen and her husband Kris of Leominster, and her son William Mason of Davenport, FL.

Per Julie’s wishes, there will be no services. If you would like, please donate to a no kill animal charity/shelter of your choice or simply do something kind for someone in her memory.

Bob had a wonderful and happy childhood in Pejepscot, being a big brother to his sisters Sylvia and Monica, and a loyal friend to all.

Shortly after his graduation from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, Bob started working at American Cyanamid as a research chemist.

He married the love of his life, Cynthia Dobransky (Webb). After living in Connecticut for several years, they moved to Leominster, MA where Bob started a long and successful career. He was a sports fan who loved all the New England teams and enjoyed spending time with his son’s dog Tisbie, taking her on many car rides “to get the paper”.

He was a truly wonderful husband, the best dad to his children, the sweetest “Bampa” and “opa” to all his grandchildren, the kindest brother to his sisters, and a caring and loving father-in-law. He will be deeply missed.

Felix "Prev" Przybyszewski - April 01, 1954 - March 10, 2022

Departed: 03/10/2022 (Leominster)

Obituary Preview: It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our brother Felix "Prev" Przybyszewski, 67, of Leominster who passed away Thursday March 10th, 2022 at the Highlands in Fitchburg from complications of Stage IV COPD and Esophageal cancer which he battled for many years. We were fortunate to be with Felix during his last days and at the moment of his passing, encouraging him to let it all go.

Felix was born in Leominster on April 1, 1954 to the late Felix and Frances (Loughlin) Przybyszewski and lived in Leominster most of his life as well as CA for many years. In his youth, he was a boy scout, played little league, picked Apples at Fitzgerald’s Apple Orchard and delivered papers. He enjoyed our North Leominster neighborhood, building snow forts, riding go carts and minibikes, placing baseball cards on the spokes of his bicycle to make it sound cool, ice skating in the swamp in our backyard, participating in rotten apple fights, going to Whalom Park and T.A.G. dances. He graduated from Leominster High School in 1972.

Felix was a talented and gifted stone mason, taking great pride in the many natural stone, brick, block and concrete projects that he created locally as well as in CA, NH and ME. He started his masonry career with DiNardo Masonry and then worked independently for most of his working years. Many of these projects he did for his family and friends. He worked for Wachusett Precast towards the end of his career. He also was a bartender at the Elbow Lounge and Spencer’s in Leominster and briefly worked as a computer technician at Digital, Honeywell and Wang computer in his earlier years.

Felix enjoyed fishing, driving his car, listening to music, concerts, riding his motorcycle, doodling and creating sketches of his masonry projects, watching TV, playing the lottery, laughing, joking and spending time with family and friends. Felix enjoyed a good party, was quick witted and came up with the funniest perspectives on things.

Although Felix had many challenges, especially the past few years when illness dominated his life, he still maintained a strong will to live and appreciation for what life offered him at any given moment. In spite of his other serious health challenges, he miraculously became part of the 22% club of individuals with positive results from immunotherapy to fight his esophageal cancer. This therapy extended the quality of his life and his life itself by 18 months.

Felix is survived by his family which he loved very much and who loved him: brothers Joseph Preski and his wife Waw of Harper, TX, Philip Przybyszewski and his wife Donna of Merrimack, NH, John Przybyszewski and his wife Cyd of La Quinta, CA and his sisters Ellen Przybyszewski and Frances Przybyszewski of Leominster, MA. He is also survived by nieces Tasha Benson and her husband Dan of Rye, NH and Jen Przybyszewski of Vernon, CT as well as great nieces Darby and Lizzie Benson of Rye, NH and great nephew, Mac Johnson of Vernon, CT. Felix loved these kids and treasured time spent with them and he loved his dog Puck and & cats Keno & Dega. Felix also leaves close friends: Bobby Hachey, Joey Clermont, Dan and Mary Cantor, Mike Berube, and the Whalom Variety crew who supported Felix all the way to the end.

Felix is predeceased by his parents, Felix and Frances (Loughlin) Przybyszewski and close cousins Keith Loughlin, Gordon Loughlin and Timothy Loughlin.

We want to thank Dr. Castellanos and Anna from Mass Lung and Allergy, Dr. Gultawatvichai and the staffs of the Burbank Cancer Center, Leominster Health Alliance Hospital, the EMTs of the Leominster Fire Department, Better Home Health Services and the Highlands for the exceptional care and support provided to Felix and our family.

Although we will all miss you Felix, we are grateful that you are forever free from pain, finally at peace, have found happiness and living your dream. We know you are taking deep breathes of all that fresh heavenly air that surrounds you. Felix asked that when you hear the Zac Brown song “Toes”, you think of him.

Obituary Preview: LEOMINSTER --- James A. Facey Jr., at 91 years of age, died peacefully in his home on February 22, 2022. He was surrounded by his loving and grateful family.

Jim was a lifelong resident of Leominster, born to James A Facey, Sr. and Bertha (Robinson) Facey. He is predeceased by his siblings, Priscilla Givens, Shirley Rouleau, and Thomas Facey. Growing up on a farm in North Leominster in the depression era, he worked in varying capacities from a young age, developing an enduring work ethic and strength of character.

His hobbies included flying radio control airplanes, building model trains and collecting cars. He enjoyed singing, gardening, cooking and ice cream.
